Up at 6:00 am, breakfast at 7:00 am across the street from Mountain Top motel. Great ride down Blue Ridge Parkway. The roads are clean, smooth, a
little curvy. Fantastic scenery everywhere we go. We had lunch at Knights on Main restaurant in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Bob ate there 8 years ago. It was really good food. We
stopped to buy wine and Crown for tonight. The weather is fabulous. 70s and low 80s. It's taking longer because we keep stopping to take photos and look at the scenery. It's getting late,
so we decide to take I40 to make better time to Sylva. We finally get into town about 7:30 pm. We ate dinner at O'Malleys Pub and head to Food Lion to buy breakfast food. The cabin at Mountain
Brook is fantastic. 2 streams running through the property. Lance's padded seat has arrived. We settle in, pour drinks, and sit in the porch swing and rocking chairs. Sandra is in bed by 10:30
pm, leaving everyone else visiting. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, and living room. Really great with the other cabins close by.
